The Wildland Fire Canada Conference (WFCC) and Canadian Smoke Forum bring together wildland fire management agencies, Indigenous knowledge holders and experts, scientists, partners, and collaborators from across Canada and around the world. This biennial conference focuses on wildland fire management, science, and knowledge-sharing in Canada.

Canada has a diversity of fire-prone environments that offer unique perspectives on wildland fire challenges and opportunities, as well as a diversity of people with rich perspectives, ideas, and practices for wildland fire management. The goal of this conference is to provide Canada’s wildland fire community with a forum to exchange the latest science, practices, and information, and promote networking and collaboration.
